Day 24! Part two to my jaguar study. This is a pencil drawing of his muscular structure. The Weatherly Guide to Drawing Animals explains how, in order to draw the subject better, you have to have an understanding of its structure, and what's inside of it. To see how it moves properly, you have to know all of the components. For example, when the left foot is forward, which muscles are working, and which are relaxed will create the different angles in the body. This applies to any subject really. Especially in animation.
